Music has always been an important part of the Sunday services in our church. Music is an effective way to teach spiritual truths, affirm commitments, give testimony to God's goodness, and express the emotions that are a part of our Christian experience.
The primary music groups are the Chancel Choir, German Choir, Singing Ladies and the Singing Men. We also have vocal soloists, and instrumentalists. Our more traditional worship style includes the use of the organ.
A special feature on the third Sunday evening of each month is the Hymn Sing which has been featured throughout the year for a number of years. With a good mix of congregational singing and special numbers, Hymn Sing draws a "full house" from many churches in Abbotsford and other communities. Many people come early to enjoy the prelude by Doug Johnson, organist, Wes Heinrichs, pianist, and other guests.
