Walter Wiens

Pastor Walter has several areas of responsibility.  As the Pastor of Care he and his wife, Edith, have as their goal "to create a climate where everyone who comes will feel cared for." Being Pastor of Administration includes helping office staff and ministry leaders serve with effectiveness and joy in God"s mission in our church and our neighbourhood. Walter's passion as Pastor of Evangelism is to see that everyone in our church would be affirmed and confident in sharing God's love. 

Pastor Walter is also involved in preaching and teaching, and is editor of the monthly newsletter, The Bridge. Walter sings in the Chancel Choir and Edith sings in the Chancel and German Choirs.

Walter's passion for CMBC: "I believe elderly people are highly valued in God's sight. This means I want to personally affirm them, recognizing their giftedness and provide appropriate opportunities for ministry where they will feel valued and be drawn closer to God."
