Pastor Don Petker
- John 21 is one of the most poignant stories in the bible. In many ways Jesus brings his three years of ministry with the disciples full circle. Discuss the way some of the events in this text reflect back to other events in the Gospels (ie. the fishing scene).
- What do you think might have been going on in Peter's mind as he sat down to breakfast with Jesus?
- What is the significance of Jesus reverting back to "Simon" as he interacted with Peter?
- Imagine having an opportunity to sit with Jesus over a charcoal fire. What would you say to him? What might he say to you? How might he name you? How might he address your failures? How might he restore you to your potential?
