    language, the “heart” represents more than emotions.
    What aspects of our being are included?

2. What does Jesus mean by “pure of heart”? Is Jesus
    speaking primarily about moral behaviour, inner motives,
    or undivided loyalty to God? 

3. What does it mean to “see God”? Is this promise referring
    to future eternity, present spiritual perception, or both?

4. What competes for the purity of our hearts today? What
    are some common distractions or divided loyalties that can
    distract us? 

5. How can we cultivate a pure heart? What practices can help
    align our hearts with God?
